Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She has received best-recognition for her roles in Nashville in the 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 in which she played Claudia Shepard. The actress also was the lead character in the feature film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She also has a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her childhood. Aubrey is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for the class of 2012 after she graduated. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree to her admission the second time due to her Nashville part. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a regular on TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective and The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples revealed that she has bipolar disorder when she spoke in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples to be one of the best actors younger than twenty-one in September 2014.
